Internships
Internships

Internships provide an important experience and the opportunity for career exploration and development, as well as to learn new skills.

As a diverse organisation involved in all aspects of the cancer control continuum, we offer a host of opportunities for young people to obtain additional skills to enhance their repertoire as well as to obtain a diverse experience in being attached to a not-for-profit organisation.

At National Cancer Society Malaysia, we are able to offer a range of internships for young people studying at the undergraduate and graduate level in a variety of subjects. This includes students of medicine, dentistry, public health, pharmacy, dietetics, nutrition, biochemistry, and any other allied health sciences.

We are also offering a specific internship programme for the non-health sciences students.

We also welcome young graduates including young medical doctors awaiting ‘house officer’ posting to intern via a Young Medical Professionals programme.

Types of internships:

My time with NCSM has showed me how we can help patients in non-medical ways, which gave me a new perspective.” – Natasha Ashley Jacob, Medical student
