Wellness classes

We offer motivational and wellness classes that help enrich, heal and restore what cancer takes away from you. These classes are not meant to replace conventional treatment, but to complement your journey.

Our free classes are available for cancer patients and are available from Monday to Sunday.

Caregivers are welcome to join in some of the classes. Please check with our Resource & Wellness Centre prior to your visit.

Chinese ink painting

Join our Chinese ink painting class and benefit from the effects of art therapy. The class helps and support the self-healing experience and alleviates your anxiety. No artistic skills needed.

Dance for fitness

Our dance session offers different types of dances such as traditional, contemporary and even modern, and is conducted to improve your coordination and flexibility. Come release your ‘inner soul’ and get fit while having fun.

Every Wednesday,
2.00pm to 3.30pm


Learn Qiqong, a Chinese meditative practice, that combines meditation exercises and breathing to balance the so-called flow of energy (qi) or life force within the body. The practice of qigong could improve fatigue during treatment and ease side effects of treatment.

Access bars

It is said that ‘energy points’ or ‘access bars’ in your brain can be activated by light touches on the head. There are claims that this allows energy to flow through and release electrical charges that hold feelings and emotions.

Reiki and essential oils massage

Some say reiki rebalances and restores the body’s energy flow (qi), and removes blockages within the body. When necessary, essential oil massages are combined with reiki to optimise one’s well-being.

Laughter wellness

They say laughter is the best medicine. A popular class among our survivors and caregivers, this session will help you to connect with your body, mind and spirit. Apart from countering stress and fear, other benefits include strengthening your immune system and increasing your energy levels.

Far infrared cabin

30 minutes in a far infrared cabin is believed to be able to promote better blood circulation and lower your blood pressure.

Enjoy the perceived benefits of yoga: an ideal, balanced form of whole body exercise. The instructors will teach you breathing techniques, as well as poses that can work ‘magic’ on many levels, such as lifting your mood, strengthening your body, and boosting your immune system.
