Wigs And Prosthesis
Wigs and prosthesis

Cancer and its treatments can cause changes to your body and the way you look. For example, having scars after surgery or losing your hair after chemotherapy.  Even though many of the effects of treatment can be temporary, they can still be very distressing. Don’t be shy to speak to us. Our trained personnel are available to advise and guide you every step of the way.

At our Centre, we offer breast prostheses fittings and wigs.

Breast prosthesis

A breast prosthesis is an artificial breast form that fits in your bra cup to replace all or part of the breast that has been removed. For some women, wearing a prosthesis may be a temporary choice before they have reconstruction at a later date. Other women may choose not (or be unable) to have breast reconstruction and they may find wearing a prosthesis an effective and suitable long-term choice.

Hair wigs

Hair loss is one of the most traumatic side effects faced by cancer patients who undergo chemotherapy. While many would like to wear a wig while waiting for their hair to grow, the cost can be prohibitive. At our centre, we provide a minimal deposit for the wig.

We operate from Monday to Friday
8.30am to 4.30pm
