About Adopt A Room
About Adopt A Room

Through the Adopt A Room programme, you, your company or organisation can help fund our Children’s Home of Hope to sustain the on-going operations of our free services to child cancer patients and their caregivers.

During these challenging times, our aim is to be able to provide all that we can for these little warriors who take shelter at our Home while undergoing treatment, and through this programme you can do your part to support them too!

How Will Your Sponsorship Help?
How will your sponsorship help?

Located on the fourth floor of the NCSM building, the Children’s Home Of Hope is financed entirely by voluntary contributions from the public. The home opened in 1996 at the request of the Paediatric Department of Hospital Kuala Lumpur to offer children from outstation who are undergoing treatment with a comfortable place to stay with their caregivers.

The Children’s Home of Hope has provided shelter for more than 1550 child cancer patients and caregivers. We have a total of nine child-friendly rooms themed around fairy tales, safari, space, nursery rhymes, and teddy bears – as kids adore them and it helps distract them from their pain.

We provide a set of FREE holistic services for our patients and caregivers which includes fully furnished bedrooms, housekeeping facilities, laundry services, play therapy by a certified play therapist, counselling services, in-house nutrition and dietary counselling, basic groceries and shuttle services to and from the hospital.

Your sponsorship will go a long way to help our patients receive the essential services that they need during treatment whilst staying at our Home.

At the Home, it feels like heaven for me and my child. Apart from being comfortable, the Home was also a convenient stay, as it is within walking distance to Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
