Dr. Shumita Gunasagaran
MBBS (UMS), Masters in Public Health (University of Glasgow)
Dr Shumita is a medical graduate who has completed her Master’s in Public Health from University of Glasgow with a specialism in Health Promotion. She has more than 5 years of experience working in various non-governmental organizations, and she has a particular interest in health equity, mental health advocacy and reducing barriers to cancer care for all in need. She is currently the Coordinator for the Guided Patient Support unit in NCSM, which works primarily to provide access and navigate patients through the healthcare and cancer landscape in Malaysia.
Nik Muhammad Amirul Adli B. Nik Mohd Sidek
Diploma in Management (UM), Bachelor of Social Administration (UM)
Nik Amirul is a Social Worker graduate from the University of Malaya with a vast experience in project management and program delivery across various non-governmental organizations. He has a keen interest in community development, communal social work, and psychosocial empowerment for at-risk groups. A naturally people-centric person, Nik’s work closely with stakeholders to oversee the team daily operation and is dedicated to building resilience and driving social change of the patients affected with cancer.
