Future-Proofing Tobacco Control in Malaysia is an extensive report compiled by an expert group of healthcare professionals, academicians and clinicians aiming at providing advice and insights pertaining to various aspects of tobacco control specifically within the context of the Control of Smoking Product for Public Health Bill 2023. The panel was convened by the Parliamentary Special Select Committee (PSSC) on Health. The report highlights 3 broad areas – pertaining to product control, behavioural aspects and clinical management of tobacco control. The report consists of current evidence-based, best practices, and existing norms and standards from global counterparts, contributing as a beacon for advancing tobacco control initiatives.

Ke Arah Pemerkasaan dan Pemampanan Kawalan Tembakau di Malaysia ialah laporan yang diterbitkan oleh kumpulan pakar profesional kesihatan, ahli akademik dan pakar klinikal yang berperanan untuk memberikan nasihat dan pandangan teknikal berkaitan pelbagai aspek kawalan tembakau khususnya dalam konteks Rang Undang-Undang Kawalan Produk Merokok Demi Kesihatan Awam 2023. Panel tersebut telah ditubuh oleh Jawatankuasa Pilihan Khas Parlimen Kesihatan (JPKPK). Skop kerja dalan laporan ini dibahagikan kepada 3 bidang utama berkaitan dengan kawalan produk, aspek tingkah laku dan pengurusan klinikal penggunaan tembakau dan nikotin. Panel pakar membincangkan amalan terbaik berasaskan bukti semasa serta piawaian sedia ada daripada negara-negara lain. Laporan ini menyumbang sebagai mercu tanda untuk memajukan inisiatif kawalan tembakau.
